Johnny's

Johnny's has been a cornerstone of York Beach for over 45 years. Before it was a candy store, it was known as Johnny's Potpourri, which sold jewelry and silk-screened clothing. Now it's Johnny's Candy Corner, a third-generation family owned and operated candy store that sells a delicious variety of chocolates and bulk candy. Johnny and Agnes, the founders, are joined by their daughter Janie and grandson JD in running the day-to-day operations at the store.

Recent years have brought about plenty of transformation. In 2025, Johnny's underwent significant renovations inside the store. Additionally, Johnny's adopted expanded off-season hours. Previously open from Memorial Day to Columbus Day, Johnny's now stays open during the winter for all your holiday shopping. Despite all the changes, a few things remain the same, namely, the people and the product. Johnny's is still the perfect place to visit if you are having, as Johnny says, "a chocolate attack!"
